V-Day Planning in Reseda
Love is in the Reseda air, and luckily for those celebrating Valentine’s Day in this slice of California, there are plenty of things to do! Start by checking out the annual Los Angeles Bachata Festival, February 11th through the 15th. You can get a full pass, VIP upgrade, evening pass, or a daily pass. A weekend of concerts, performances and competition, all to a Latin beat, is sure to heat things up!
On the 13th, “Love Songs” is performed, dinner theater style, at the Christ Cathedral Cultural Center in Garden Grove. This church turned into a five star restaurant is a dining experience you’ll never forget. A jazz quartet and singers from around the world come together to woo and romance you in between bites of gourmet fare.
Celebrate Your Sweetheart
The 2016 Valentine’s Day Fun Run on February 14th features a 10k and a one-miler for the kids. It starts at Coronado State Park in Coronado and has become famous in the past six years for attention to detail, race management, and the most incredible of after parties.
You might also want to check out the 5k Kiss Wine Run on February 6th at Mount Palomar Winery. Run through the vineyards then celebrate with a glass or two afterwards. You’ve earned it—and the chocolate to go with it!
