Memorial Day Weekend

For many, the Topanga Days Country Fair is the official start to summer and the perfect way to make the most of the holiday weekend. The family-friendly event is a short drive from your Southbay hotel and includes a carnival, plenty of your favorite fair food, and the landmark parade on Monday at 8:30 a.m.

For three straight days, top musical and dance performers take to the stages for non-stop fun and entertainment. Duck into mainstage events and game areas to test your luck and show off your skills. Check out the thrill rides in between indulgences of elephant ears and Mexican-style street corn.

Head south to San Diego to SeaWorld for their legendary summer nights fireworks show that begins on Memorial Day weekend. Holiday weekends can be crowded, but arriving right when SeaWorld opens means easy parking and largely having the park to yourself.
