Fourth of July Festivities
There are many fantastic places to catch the fireworks near Reseda, like the Grand Park 4th of July Block Party! Free and bigger than ever, you’ll find two stages of music hosted by KROQ, a myriad of food vendors, and the biggest downtown rooftop fireworks display in the LA area. It’s the ultimate Independence Day party for those looking for the biggest, loudest and best.
There’s also Whiskey Red’s, a waterfront restaurant that offers a BBQ buffet and huge dessert bar with $5 fireballs for the holiday. A tribute band plays patriotic songs, and the famous Marina del Rey fireworks display are easy to see. It’s one of the best spots to eat, drink, and catch the show.
Light Up the Sky
The Rose Bowl Stadium AmericaFest has one of the most patriotic parties in town with serious fireworks, compliments of the host, “Rocket Man.” Massive food offerings are on hand as well as motorcycle stunts and a Beatles tribute band (just to keep things interesting). If you want to go all-in Americana, this is the place to be.
Hollywood Bowl hosts an annual Fireworks Spectacular, and it’s a mainstay in LA, with Steve Martin regularly making appearances. Three straight nights, beginning July 3, promises picnics, incredible fireworks displays, and “red, white and brews” to keep the party going.
