Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade

The Canoga Park Chamber of Commerce Memorial Day Parade is family fun for all! Held on May 30 beginning at 11 a.m., the parade winds through Sherman Way and Owensmouth Avenue before ending at the First Baptist Church of Canoga Park at Sherman and Cozycroft. Performances will be held at the post-parade celebration, and costumes/uniforms are required by all featured in the parade.

All flags, music and colors must celebrate the USA, making this one of the most authentic Memorial Day parades in the state. Floats, cars, motorcycles, horses, bands, and choral groups are all regular participants. You’ll find marching bands, incredible feats at stages peppered throughout the pre- and post-staging areas, and incredible patriotism amongst fellow parade goers.

I Love a Parade!

The Canoga area’s businesses and organizations host the parade each year in conjunction with the Chamber. This year’s theme is “Saluting the Price of Freedom,” and the city welcomes participants from in and around the area. Largely a volunteer effort, there are also local sponsors who come together to make the parade a success.

Join your adopted Canoga community for treats, giveaways, games and more at the annual Memorial Day Parade celebrating our troops and freedom.
